This tutorial is for the Splinter Cell installer. I will post tutorials on the other two games later.

~Things Needed~
Action Replay (appx. $30 American)
either:

007: Agent Under Fire
Mechassault
DO note that all of these need to be THE VERY ORIGINAL VERSIONS. updates to the games have been patched, so they do not work.

To get the files you need, excluding what I give you (posted below,) follow a tutorial to access #xbins and download the correct files that you would like installed.

To start things off, make sure your Action Replay is working. open it, and clear the memory card. now, take BOTH files I have provided and put them in your memory card (just drag them over to the memory card box) and let it save. put them on your xbox through normal ways of transferring data.

Now, on the Xbox, go down to your splinter cell saves. clear everything except for the odd looking one. (should be the debian logo [white circle with red spiral in the middle]) the installer WILL NOT work if any other gamesaves are in the slot for splinter cell. don't know why, but feel free to look into it. Now, go to the top of your saves to see if the installer is there. should be the same logo.

Start up Splinter Cell, and choose the profile "LINUX". (might have a different name, but should be the only one up.) Go to 'Checkpoints' and let it run. the screen should turn black for about 10 seconds, and the LED around the power button should turn red or yellow.

Mow, go to 'English', then 'Install Softmod'. here's where the actual installation begins.

Click on "do not back up". trust me, it will screw things up. It auto-backs up in the install anyway.

It will load lots of stuff, so it might take a while. but when its done, you will be in the virtual EEPROM screen. Hilight step 1 and press A.

Now, highlight step 2 and press A. You will now be in a loading screen. again, it might take a while to load.

Now once its done, it will say nkpatcher .06, and nkpather.07 (might be another number). CLICK ON .06. The other number is for Hard Drives bigger than 130 gigs.

Now, click on Evolution X. trust me, its better than UnleashX. (Unleash does EVERYTHING for you, without asking, and you can't change it once its done its thing, so Evolution X (EvoX, for short) is way better.)

Now you will go through a series of questions. read them, and answer them (yes or no. most should be yes)

Once installed, you'll receive a message saying its done. it'll reboot the xbox on exit of the warning, and you'll be in the EvoX dashboard.

PART 2

Now, to connect to the Xbox, you need an FTP program (which you should have to connect to #xbins anyway.) By the way, Internet Explorer has a built in FTP service, and Firefox has a plugin for it.

In the EvoX menu, scroll down to 'MS Dash' (might say 'M$' instead) and press A. you will be brought back to the original dashboard. Go to Network Settings in the options menu, and make sure the IP and DNS are both set to automatic.

Now, re-start splinter cell, and load the Linux profile again if it doesn't automatically take you to a new menu. go to Dashboard Settings, Network, then the 4th tag down should say somthing about "IP" or "type" : static : click A and change it to DHCP. save the changes (at the bottom of the screen is the button) and re-boot. Now, your Xbox is FTP ready.

If it does not display an IP adress for you to copy into your FTP program, then you did somthing wrong with the network settings.

To access the xbox, the username and password are both "xbox" (without the quotes)

MAKING THE XBOX LIVE-SAFE

To make it Live-Safe, load Splinter Cell again, and Load LINUX. on the next menu, there should be an option that says either "disable EvoX" or somthing close to that. Click it, and reboot the xbox. It is now Live-Safe.

To turn EvoX back on, do the same, just it will say "enable" or the opposite of what it said before.
