BONUS WEAPONS

Desert Eagle, Long Barrel:
Get hold of the Fox Emblem.

Patriot Future Assault Weapon:
Complete the game with a rank of “Big Boss”. Note: this weapon has infinite ammo.

Race Gun pistol:
Successfully complete the game in Single Player mode.


Thor 45-70:
Get hold of the Fox Hound Emblem.

World War I pistol:
Get hold of the Hound Emblem.



SOLAR GUN STATUE LOCATIONS

The statues required to unlock the Solar Gun can be found at the following locations:

Frog:
(Stage 1) Middle East, Advent Palace garage, atop the Nomad vehicle.

Octopus:
(Stage 2) South America, in the Research Lab Boss room, upper right room.

Raven:
(Stage 3) Europe, on the top floor of the human phase of the Boss fight.

Wolf:
(Stage 4) Shadow Moses, behind Snake’s starting spot in the human phase of the Boss fight.

Mantis:
(Stage 5) Outer Heaven, near the northern-most door during the human phase of the fight.


BONUS EQUIPMENT

Bandanna:
Complete the game in Single Player mode without killing anyone, including Bosses, or purchase it from Drebin for 5,000,000 DP after starting another game when you complete the game. Note: this item will give you infinite ammo.

Digital Camera:
You could find it in the Nomad vehicle during the mission intermission. If you wait until stage 4 to get this, you can unlock a special photo.

Scanning Plug S:
Log more than ten (10) hours of online playing time using the same profile as your single player game to unlock it for purchase from Drebin.

Stealth Item:
Complete the game in Single Player mode without instigating an enemy alert.


BONUS FACE CAMO:

Big Boss:
Get the Big Boss Emblem. Note: this item will make your enemies fear you and run away screaming.

Crying Wolf:
Defeat Crying Wolf in human form using non-lethal methods.

Drebin:
Get hold and keep over 60 weapons.

Laughing Octopus:
Defeat Laughing Octopus in human form using non-lethal methods.

Metal Gear Solid Snake:
Start the Shadow Moses level.

Otacon:
Shock Otacon with Metal Gear Mk. II during interactive mission briefing.

Raging Raven:
Defeat Raging Raven in human using non-lethal methods.

Raiden A:
Shock Sunny with Metal Gear Mk. II during interactive mission briefing.

Raiden B:
Shock Naomi with Metal Gear Mk. II during interactive mission briefing.

Roy Campbell:
Shock Campbell with Metal Gear Mk. II during interactive mission brief.

Screaming Mantis:
Defeat Screaming Mantis using non-lethal methods.

Young Snake:
Start the Eastern Europe level.

Young Snake with Bandana:
Start the Eastern Europe level.


BONUS COSTUMES

Altair’s Rags (Assassin’s Creed):
Get the Assassin’s Emblem.

Business Suit:
Complete the game.

Civilian clothes:
Start the Eastern Europe level.

Optial Camo
Complete the game in Single Player mode without getting into alert phase or you can purchase this from Drebin for 5,000,000 DP after starting another game session when you complete the game. Note: this makes you completely invisible.

Middle East Militia Disguise:
Go to the Middle East militia safe house.

South American Militia Disguise:
Go to the South American cove valley village.


BONUS IPOD SONGS

Beyond the Bounds:

(In Stage 4) Shadow Moses, Tank Hangar, after power is restored, return to the upper catwalk, and explore all the rooms. Note: this increases stun damage done by Snake from non-lethal weapons.

Big Boss:
Acquire the Big Boss Emblem. Note: increases stun damage and Snake’s accuracy.

Bio-hazard:
(Stage 3) Europe, Midtown, hold-up a resistance soldier and body search him. Note: causes soldiers held by Snake to scream.

Destiny’s Call:
Can be received in random from an allied or neutral militia/rebel soldier after Snake hands out a healing item. Note: causes soldiers held by Snake to become enraged.

Flowing Destiny:
(Stage 4) Shadow Moses, Canyon, before leaving the canyon area, examine the rocky walls for a hole hiding the song. Note: causes soldiers held by Snake to weep.

The Fury:
(Stage 2) South America, Cove Valley Village, search inside the fire-ravaged house. Note: causes soldiers held by Snake to become enraged.

MGS 4 Love Theme/Action:
Received randomly from an allied or neutral militia or rebel soldier after Snake gives them a healing item. Note: causes soldiers held by Snake to weep.

Opening - Old L.A. 2040:
(Stage 4) Shadow Moses, Nuclear Warhead Storage B2, input “78925″ into Otacon’s lab computer. Note: increases Snake’s accuracy.

Policenaughts Ending:
(Stage 4) Shadow Moses, Nuclear Warhead Storage B2, enter “13462″ into Otacon’s lab computer. Note: causes soldiers held by Snake to fall asleep when touched.

Rock Me:
(Stage 2) South America, Confinement Facility, search the island in the south-eastern quadrant. Note: increases the amount of life recovered from healing items and others.

Sailor:
(Stage 2) South America, Vista Mansion, look between the east wall and a cargo container. Note: increases the amount of life recovered from items and other means.

Show Time:
Received randomly from an allied or neutral militia or rebel soldier after Snake gives them a healing item. Note: causes soldiers held by Snake to scream.

Snake Eater:
Get all 40 game clear Emblems. Note: increases the amount of life recovered from items and other means.

Subsistence:
Play one game of Metal Gear Online, starting the match with at least two players. Note: increases Snake’s accuracy.


MGS4 EMBLEMS

Assassin’s Emblem:

Complete the game in Single Player mode with killing more than 50 enemies with the knife, having over 50 CQC holds, and getting discovered less than 25 times.

Big Boss Emblem:
Complete the game in Single Player mode on the hardest difficulty using no continues, instigating no alerts, killing no enemies (including Bosses), using no life recovery items, using no stealth suit or bandanna special items. You can have the items in your inventory but they shouldn’t be activated. You should also have a completion time of less than 5 hours.

Fox Emblem:
Complete the game in Single Player mode on the Naked Normal or higher difficulty using no continues, instigating no more than five alerts, killing no enemies (including Bosses), using no life recovery items, using no stealth suit or bandanna special items. You can have the items in your inventory but they shouldn’t be activated. You should also have a completion time of less than 6 hours.

Fox Hound Emblem:
Complete the game in Single Player mode on the Big Boss Hard or higher difficulty using no continues, instigating no more than three alerts, killing no enemies (including Bosses), using no life recovery items, using no stealth suit or bandanna special items. You can have the items in your inventory but they shouldn’t be activated. You should also have a completion time of less than 5 hours and 30 minutes.

Hound Emblem:
Complete the game in Single Player mode on the Naked Normal or higher difficulty using no continues, instigating no more than three alerts, killing no enemies (including Bosses), using no life recovery items, using no stealth suit or bandanna special items. You can have the items in your inventory but they shouldn’t be activated. You should also have a completion time of less than 6 hours and 30 minutes.


MGS4 REPLAY BONUSES

Complete the game, and create a cleared saved game file. Start another game session, and encounter Metal Gear II in the first stage to get the Drebin points, weapons, ammunition, items, and special items from your original game.

Big Boss Extreme mode
Complete the game in Single Player mode to unlock the Big Boss Extreme difficulty level.
