Being one of Japan's biggest names, it's no surprise that Square Enix would be out in style at the Tokyo Game Show, and the company didn't disappoint, with Final Fantasy titles galore, the announcement of three new installments of the Kingdom Hearts series, and even plans for a new Parasite Eve game.
Tokyo Game Show’s Japan Game Awards has chosen its honored winners this year. The Game of the Year gong has been struck for two games this time, which were decided to be equally awesome.
At the Tokyo Game Show today, Sony announced that they would be delaying the launch of their Home Online World service for the PS3.
Originally the launch date was set for autumn, but due to much needed improvements Sony have delayed the launch till Spring 2008.
With the recent announcement of Dual Shock 3 funtionality being added to PS3 at TGS 2007, Sony have been generous enough to provide to the press a list of currently planned and already existing games on the console compatible with the Dual Shock 3.
It's been a difficult few years for Sony's controller, with the lack of Dual Shock a potential factor in the massive damage to the company's successes of late, but the Tokyo Game Show had some good news in store for fans today, when Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai announced that Dual Shock would be returning to our hands soon, in the form of the Dual Shock 3.
The company is remaining tight lipped about what to expect at the event, but GameSpot UK succeeded in nabbiing an informal interview with Sony Worldwide Studios president Phil Harrison, to discuss the past, present, and future of the troubled company.

Before TGS was to start Konami had a conference at their Akaska headquarters, revealed that Konami's most likely important show piece is a playable debut of Metal Gear Solid 4. They also announced that there will be updates on other Metal Gear titles.
