Diablo III officially announced

Today at the World Wide Invitational in Paris, France Blizzard announced Diablo III. This is the long time coming follow-up to Diablo II, which was released in 2000. Not much is available as of right now, but a trailer and further details will come through the next few hours and days so stay tuned.

Activision & Blizzard Entertainment to merge

Two video game giants are set to merge in a deal which could send shock waves throughout the global video games industry. Activision and Blizzard plan to form "the world's most profitable games business". The deal is thought to be worth $18.8 billion (£9.15bn).
