The lucky guys have just gotten their hands on a huge collection of Street Fighter IV screenshots, highlighting the original Street Fighter characters that were recently unveiled.
Interestingly enough, while we're all sitting around waiting for concrete gameplay details (beyond the knowledge that it will be pseudo-2D), a lot of gamers have been taking an interest in the game's colourful, unique art-style, especially that displayed in the intro.
Ever since Capcom announced Street Fighter IV, the question on everyone's lips was what format the gameplay would take. Would it 2D, or 3D? Now that Capcom have decided to let loose some details on the game, the answer seems to be... it's both.
To say that the gaming community was excited when Street Fghter 4 was announced would be the understatement of the century. Sadly, us fighting fans are going to have to be paitent, as Capcom have informed the media that the game is well over a year away from release.

Today, Capcom finally announced Street Fighter 4. Not much is known about the game besides the fact that it's going to be released on the new gen consoles. HD graphics are to be expected, but whether the game will remain 2D like its predecessors is yet to be known.

A small number of you may vaguely remember the announcement of a new Street Fighter movie almost a year ago. The project has been quiet since, until today, when Variety Magazine reported that Andrzej Bartkowiak would be taking the directors seat for the newest big screen installment of the Street Fighter franchise.
As if the first one wasn't enough for us all to bear, it seems Capcom are set on releasing a second Street Fighter movie in 2008, to coincide with the franchise's 20th anniversary.
