If the recent ad on gaming retail giant Gamestop's website is to be believed, the much anticipated final instalment of Hideo Kojima's action/stealth franchise, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, will be available to PS3 owners on June 17, 2008.



For awhile now, it has been several rumours that Metal Gear Solid 4 will not be a PlayStation 3 exclusive, and will be released on the Xbox 360.
