As a MGS4 bundle pack has already been confirmed, it along with the game itself is set to hit store shelves June 12th 2008.
If the recent ad on gaming retail giant Gamestop's website is to be believed, the much anticipated final instalment of Hideo Kojima's action/stealth franchise, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, will be available to PS3 owners on June 17, 2008.

For awhile now, it has been several rumours that Metal Gear Solid 4 will not be a PlayStation 3 exclusive, and will be released on the Xbox 360. Even with Konami and Sony reconfirming it as a PS3 exclusive, many believe that Konami will need to release the game on the Xbox 360, to get a decent profit on the release date.

After the bad enough news that MGS4 Release date has been delayed again. It appears that PAL MGO which was set to close yesterday, has indeed been closed.

Well, we all knew it was coming, but the worst has happened. The PS3's long needed triple A exclusive, Metal Gear Solid 4 has been delayed, yet again, until at least the second quarter of 2008.

With the US and Japan servers already closed, PAL is all that remains on. Now the PAL servers are closing on 10/30/2007, completely ending MGS3 Subsistence Online.

Before TGS was to start Konami had a conference at their Akaska headquarters, revealed that Konami's most likely important show piece is a playable debut of Metal Gear Solid 4. They also announced that there will be updates on other Metal Gear titles.
Sonic Riders and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 are set to feature on both consoles.
The Sonic Riders title will return in February 2008 as a hoverboard-racing spin-off called Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. While Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 will hit the stores October this year.
The "Best of GC" nominees have been announced. To be eligible for nomination the games must be playable at the convection in Leipzig, Germany. The winners will be announced by tommorrow, August 24th.
More than 25 different games were nominated in 11 categories avaliable.

A day before the Games Convention in Leipzig Germany, the MGS4 GC '07 Trailer appears on Kotaku.com. The trailer reveals 4 MGS4 Guns of the Patriots bosses, which stated by the latest issue of Famitsu to be the following;

At PlayStation Premiere, Konami announced "Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus". Which is to contain new online characters, and stages, as-well as a single player campaign mode called "Infinity Mission".
The release date(for Japan) is set for 20th September 2007. A release date has not been announced for US and Europe.
