A new video posted on YouTube seems to have leaked the complete set list for Rock Band 2, With around 80 tracks to play. There are a few signs that this could well be fake though.



Activision has posted the tracklist for the French, Italian, German and Spanish "European version" of the upcoming DS version of Guitar Hero. The UK version (when was the UK taken out of Europe?) contains the same track list as the American version, just released this week.

Today I spent money I really didn't have on a game I really didn't need. That said, I now own Guitar Hero III for the Xbox 360. You all know I'm a GH nut, and I have all 4 games. Anywho...about the experience thus far. It's a lot more entertaining, to be sure.

Aspyr Media announced they will be developing and publishing Guitar Hero III for the Mac and the PC. Fans of the series (of which I am one) will now have access to the same game that will be on the 360, PS3, and Wii. However, it's the portability of these latest iterations of the game that will set it apart.



Hot on the tails of EA's announced new tracks for competitor Rock Band, today new tracks for Guitar Hero III were unleashed upon the legions of diehard GH fans by Red Octane, Neversoft, and Activision. They are as follows (and in my humble opinion are kind of...meh)

Guitar Hero, the phenomenally fun smash hit rhythm game series, has now had its third installment unveiled today by Activision. Apart from the updated graphics you'd expect with the current gen consoles, a new and much awaited twist has been added to the title: online multiplayer.



Desperate to return to our childhoods, many of us have been waiting for the complete track-list of the new Guitar Hero game, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s to be revealed, and now it has; Anthrax, Dead Kennedys, The Go Go's and Judas Priest are amongst the newest editions to the track-list!



Harmoni revealed a number of interesting details about their upcoming multi-instrumental music-game, Rock Band recently; smattering of gameplay details, and the unveiling of the stratocaster as the game's official guitar! Calm yourselves!



He doesn't mention which platform, so while the Wii is the most likely target, don't put it past them to release a tappy little DS version either. No dates or other information yet, but that can't be too far off. So, whaddya think? Logical extension of the brand name, or shameless milking of an over-extended franchise?



Celebrities are well known for doing their bit for charity, but now the gaming industry is giving it a go too. Together they have created 30 custom Guitar Hero controllers to help the charity MusiCares by auctioning them off on eBay.



Harmonix have been busy on a new music based game, and the details became available yesterday. Rock Band is aiming to be the most elaborate and expansive peripheral-based music games to ever set foot on the market, and it may not as lofty a claim as it sounds, when you look at the details.
