One of the big anticipations came from Lionhead Studios showing off number three of their four innovations of Fable 2, along with a Xbox Live game that will let players earn money in game, Players will now be able to campaign in a new style of Co-Op play.
It looks like Valve has a winner on its hand. The rather lovely first-person puzzler Portal (which was part of the developer's Orange Box) took home the prize as Game of the Year at this year's Game Developers Choice Awards.
As was hotly rumoured over the week, and confirmed by Harrison himself last night, PlayStation Home would be at the heart of the speech. PlayStation Home is a real-time community networked together between users, where users can interact with each other under various different settings, at no cost.
Gaming reward shows are not an uncommon thing. Neither is the frequency with which so many of them fail to truly appreciate the industry they serve to credit. The GDC awards hopes, as always, to go some way in adding some credibility to such ceremonies.
