In the forthcoming December update for the Xbox 360 console, Microsoft has announced the addition of 84 more titles to the systems library of playable original Xbox titles. The update brings the list to a respectable sum of 465 playable black box originals.

Saying that Halo 3 is going to be a big title is a no-brainer. The industry has seen many "big titles" in its lifetime, but few are quite as big as this though; analysts predict that Halo 3's success will no only set new industry records, but will also push Microsoft's gaming division into profit for the first time. Undoubtably one of the biggest highlights of the entire show, Assasin's Creed is quickly turning out to be a very ambitious title, and could turn out to be one of the biggest titles of this generation of game, if the gameplay footage is anything to go by.



Bungie have been hinting recently for a surprise on this day (7/7/7) known as BUNGIE DAY. The day has finnaly come and It was revealed that there are now 2 new Items from Bungie on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This Includes a Theme, and a Picture Pack. Both ITEMS are free and are only available on this day.



Though Microsoft did offer to fix some machines and perhaps even replace some of the affected discs they also explained that the reason such scratches were occurring was related directly to the titling of the console during gameplay, something that was discouraged in the manual.



Ebay isn’t the only option for gamers who want to trade in their Xboxes. With the approach of another version of the console—Xbox Elite—some consumers are selling off their consoles to get an upgrade. Gamestop and EB Games have been confirmed by 1Up that a deal has gone into effect.



The game's reputation for the portrayal of minxish maidens has earned DoA a certain infamy in the gaming industry, so perhaps the news that the producer of DoA Tomonobu Itagaki was inculpated for sexual advances against a female confrere is not surprising.
