The latest patch for World of Warcraft is low on new features, but makes up for it with a number of major refinements to numerous classes in the game. The biggest changes undoubtedly come to the rogue class, which seems to be going through countless backwards and forwards shift in it's makeup.

Oh, the World of Warcraft. PvE is long gone in my book. I'm done with the tedious healing of instances. I'm tired of wasting my night battling NPC's. I've had it with guild drama llamas who are so far up their sphincter it would make Lemmywinks jealous. Thank Blizz for PvP.

Don't worry, it's not World of Guitar Hero. Whilst MMORPG fans are still eagerly awaiting Wrath of the Lich, Blizzard appear to have set their eyes on other potential green pastures, and it has nothing to do with World of Warcraft.

Highlights include the new 10-player dungeon, Zul'Aman, Guild banks, Season 3 Arena rewards, the long overdue Paladin Retribution Tree revamp, a new neutral goblin town called Mudsprocket in Dustwallow Marsh for level 30 - 50, with over 50 new quests, and a complete overhaul to the level 20-60 levelling process.

In the wake of some very revealing rumours of a new WoW expansion pack recently, Blizzard Entertainment revealed at this year's BlizzCon Convetion, BlizzCon 2007, that a new WoW expansion pack is indeed in production, officially titled World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

Even as World of Warcraft's userbase climbs towards a record breaking 10 million registrations, the series still remains light on expansions, with last January's Buring Crusade taking over two years to reach us. Only eight months have passed since then, but a new expansion pack may be closer than we thought.

To those sick of the gold spamming on games such as World of Warcraft, have no fear; Blizzard has announced a new path to eliminate gold farmers. (For the benefit of the layperson; gold spamming is mass messaging in MMORPGs sent out by companies offering services to players.)
