Electronic Arts confirmed a set release date for Rock Band today... at least for the Xbox 360 anyway; the Xbox 360 version of Rock Band in Europe on 23rd May. Ok, I'm posting this article to let everyone know about a new game that seems to have some forethought put into it! This game (X-Blades)is being released on ALL of the next gen consoles as well as PC! I hope this is something everyone can get exited about! I love games that come out for multiple platforms as it helps EVERYONE, regardless of console choice, to become enthusiastic for the same title! .... it also helps weed out fanboys!

It lends itself to few surprises, really. The DS Lite has always had a dominant place in the Japanese sales charts, though the PSP's rising popularity in the east sees it slowly creeping up on Nintendo's diminutive handheld, with the Wii sitting comfortably in third place.

A few days ago, Nintendo compiled a complete list of upcoming releases for the Nintendo DS and the Wii up to the end of Summer. Those hoping for the Wii to step away from it's casual gaming focus and embrace "traditional" gaming will be sadly disappointed though. It looks like casual gaming is here to stay.
