Review News.
The Guardian, reliable (!) source of news that it is, has blessed us gamers with a review of one of the biggest games this year... the Xbox 360 exclusive... wait for it...
First off, I have to admit that when I heard about this game I had almost no intentions of considering it for purchase. The concept seemed a little drab and I didn't know if it was going to be that interesting.
Judging by the demo, I can admit I was wrong.
No doubt highly illegal, and completely defeating the point of the printed press in the first place, but the first ever review for Grand Theft Auto IV has recently been leaked onto the internet.
As many of this site's frequent flyers know, I am a HUGE survival-horror fan. I must admit though, I have never played the original Condemned for the 360. So you may consider this review less influenced by that game.. and thus I will not be comparing the two.
Patapon for the PSP is a unique game that appeals to me on a few different levels. Firstly, the stylized graphics are done very well and are a great quality that makes you forget you are playing a 2D scroll-style game almost instantly.
Due to my lack of 1080p access (and my complete unwillingness to use the SD set upstairs) I switched on the ol' PSP for some plan B action. I was browsing the PS3's online store via remote play and I stumbled across Conflict: Denied Ops.
Playstation 3 and XBox 360 owners got a taste of the latest Turok release recently thanks to the latest Playstation Network and Xbox Live update.
This review will cover the PS3 version of the demo.
Ace Combat is a revered combat flight simulator, set in an alternate earth and using a variation of real-life and fantasy aircraft. Although all the countries are fictional, the story bears a striking resemblence to real-life wars, and the newest instalment of the Ace Combat saga certainly pushes the series into the latest generation with a flash and a bang.
Normally most games aren't reviewed until it has been released and even fewer games manage to get a perfect score but Games Radar has had the opportunity to review the highly anticipated title Assassin's Creed by Ubisoft for the PlayStation 3 and their verdict? A perfect 10 out of 10.
