After much speculation, rumors of the critically acclaimed Okami making its way to the Nintendo Wii were confirmed today. The game, which like several cult hits before it, is a fantastic title which received very little press.



The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has finally announced the 2007 shortlist for the 2007 BAFTA Video Game Awards. BAFTA has long viewed gaming with a credibility equal to that of the film and television industry, and this year's event will be no different, with the Video Game Awards being televised live on the popular UK terestrial TV station, Channel 4.



Tokyo Game Show’s Japan Game Awards has chosen its honored winners this year. The Game of the Year gong has been struck for two games this time, which were decided to be equally awesome.
