I've never been one to court controversy in the video gaming industry - I believe the industry deserve much more respect ad appreciation than to bother wasting my time with shock-tactic, tabloid inspired "news". But then you discover a site that really gets you thinking, for lack of a better word.



Well, you won't be needing a powerhouse in order to play Spore, but it looks like your PC from your birthday five years ago won't quite do the job either.



In a slip up in a speech last week, Oddworld Inhabitants has confirmed that is making a new Oddworld game with Maxis boss, Jeff Braun. This comes as a slight surprise since Lorne Lanning, the companies founder announced his retirement in 2005.



Now to celebrate Spore being released in September, Maxis decided to give players a taste of the game by releasing two versions of the game's creature creator. One as a free demo with a quarter of the content and a full creator for around $25.
