Lucasarts has gone through with a massive staff layoff, and not surprisingly, most of its former staff are not happy. Source tell us that the sackings are spread across the board, and involve everything and anything from testers to artists producers. The number of affected staff appears to be around the 100 mark.



The new KOTOR game was announced on the most recent episode of the UncleGamer podcast by host Paris, who also happens to work for EA as a community manager for an upcoming MMORPG release from subsidiary BioWare.



Well, while we don't know if the third installment is going to make the jump to MMO, (please God, don't let this happen! I can't deal with Wookies of Warcraft!!) we do know, as of today, that the game is being developed by the original crew.
