Good news for PS3 owners! 2K Games have confirmed in a press release late last night that the PlayStation 3 version of Bioshock is set for an October release this year.
In a move many had hoped for but few expected, Bioshock is heading for the PlayStation 3. If any move has ever been more denied or danced around, I don't know of it. Even the game's designer, Ken Lavine, once vehemently denied that his pride and joy would ever grace the PS3.

BAFTA has long viewed gaming with a credibility equal to that of the film and television industry, and this year's event will be no different, with the Video Game Awards being televised live on the popular UK terestrial TV station, Channel 4.
Taking everybody by complete surprise, Irrational Games (2K Boston) decided last Saturday to make available on Xbox Live Marketplace a free downloadable demo of one of the most highly anticipated fps games in recent memory, Bioshock. The demo itself is about 1.2 gigs in size, which translates to roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour of gameplay.
