DRM promotes piracy due to the desire people have not to be restricted on something THEY HAVE PAID FOR. I think a better option would be to supply the consumer with an incentive to buy the game that piracy does not provide.

For those who haven't heard and aren't crazy with excitement, it has been made official that the development teams of Bioware and Lucas Arts will be teaming up for another project that so far both companies have been tight lipped about.



For those of you who aren't drooling enough over Bioware's epic Sci-Fi RPG Mass Effect, be ready to re-set your jaw as Bioware has given details on the game's limited collectors edition. Those who were willing to put down the extra $10 will be jumping for joy when they recieve their collectors edition which will feature a plethora of extras



Only a few hours ago, a news story that sent shockwaves through the North American game industry was revealed to the public gaming community. Industry giant Electronic Arts announced that it will soon acquire VG Holding Corp., owner of gaming developer BioWare/Pandemic.



"The Evolution of RPG Development" was a 40-minute panel discussion at this years Game Developers conference, aimed at looking at the evolution of the RPG, and what's involved in the process of making one. Leading the panel were BioWare's Raz Muzyka, , the renowned Peter Molyneux and Hironobu Sakaguchi, the legendary creator of the Final Fantasy series.
