The ban on controversial video game Manhunt 2 in the UK has been lifted and the game will now hit shop shelves. The Video Appeals Committee (VAC) upheld an earlier decision that the game could be sold, following a nine-month battle between devlopers Rockstar and UK censor...



Rockstar Game's appeal on the British Board of Film Classification's ban of the original version of Manhunt 2 was temporarily suspended when Rockstar submitted its revised version of the game recently. Once again, though, Rockstar got a no.



In an interesting turn of events, a Federal Judge in Louisiana, USA, was asked to ban violent video games state wide. Why did they want the ban? Many said that the interactive violence made them inherently more likely to turn people to violence.
