ICO - Trolley Track

Cross over to the right side and head down the stairway and note the ladder down to the tracks. If you head to the end of the broken path you can see the broken bridge below that you came across. Climb down the ladder and call Yorda after you. Take Yorda's hand and walk through the arch next to the ladder. Continue down the tracks until you come to an old trolley. Climb onto the trolley and Yorda will climb in too. If you've let go of her hand before climbing in, stand next to the lever on the trolley and press and hold 'R1' to cause her to climb onto the trolley. Press and hold the 'Circle' button to grab the lever to start the trolley. Hold down the appropriate directional button or analog mini-joystick in the direction you wish to travel. Continue until you reach the opposite end of the tracks. Get off of the trolley and climb up the wall. Stand on the edge and press and hold 'R1' to pull Yorda up after you. Save after that.

Climb up the wall just beyond the stone couch and give Yorda a hand up as well. Let go of her hand then run (use the left mini-joystick held all the way in that direction) straight along the path and jump ('Triangle' button) at the last possible moment across the hole in the pathway. Turn and press and hold 'R1' to extend Ico's hand to Yorda, who'll hesitate then attempt to jump across. She'll land just short but because you've continued to hold down the 'R1' button, Ico will catch her hands and you should press the 'Up' directional button to pull her back up with him. Now, continue along the path until you reach the next dead end. It's obviously too far to jump across, but you quickly note the horizontal pipe above, that's attached to the wall.

Have Ico stand under the pipe and jump up to grab it, then use the right directional button to cause him to slide across to the crane control room. If he doesn't want to move, try dropping off the pipe, moving over a little to the left and jumping back up. Head to the control lever. Throw it to cause the crane to raise and move a large crate, attached by a chain to the crane, closer to Yorda. Move back to the pipe and slide back to where Yorda remained. Jump onto the box. Call Yorda and she'll jump onto the box. Have Ico jump back onto the ledge from whence they came. Head back to the control lever via the pipe. Throw the lever to move and lower the crate and Yorda. Continue past the lever and note what appears to be a wooden beam set into the wall. Climb up onto it and you'll note another one above. Climb up onto that one and then up to the top of the wall. Climb up to the top of the crane. Carefully walk out to the end of the crane and then press the 'Down' directional button to have Ico climb down on the chain to the box below. Run and jump from the box to the next floor over. Stand near the edge and call Yorda over after you. If she appears really hesitant, note that Yorda can fall short and die here. Stop calling her and analyze your position relative to the box and move to the closest point to it. Then try again. Once again Ico will just barely catch her. Use the 'Up' directional button to pull her up onto the level area. When both characters are safely across, head to the stone couch and save your game.
