NAME: Sodom

Hailing from the United States, Sodom is an American who loves everything Japanese, which can clearly be seen in his costume. Sodom's outfit consists of tabi and geta, traditional Japanese socks and clogs, samurai gauntlets, blue jeans, body armor, a samurai kabuto with a mask, and is seen fighting with either jitte or katanas. However, his most notable feature is the kanji written on his body armor. It's supposed to read "shi" or "death", but Sodom failed to write the kanji correctly and therefore the figure on his chest has no meaning.

Sodom joined the Mad Gear gang prior to the events of Final Fight and earned respect from all the other gang members with his fighting skills. He managed to keep an undefeated winning record as an underground professional wrestler, even though he used two swords, until he was challenged by Guy.

At the time Sodom was honored to be challenged by a true Japanese fighter but stood no match against Guy's Bushin Ninjitsu fighting style, and lost the fight; not only did this ruin Sodom's undefeated record, but he lost much of the respect he had from his gang and was humiliated.

Since the fall of the Mad Gear, Sodom has set out to reunite the group and get revenge against Guy for humiliating him. Once Sodom finally finds Guy, he challenges him to a fight to redeem himself and regain his respect. Guy agrees to fight, though he feels it is pointless, but this time Sodom emerges the victor. After winning the fight against Guy, Sodom rounds up the members of Mad Gear and proposes the chance to start a new gang. He then unfolds a scroll to show the members their "new" name. The scroll is supposed to read "Mad Gear", but instead Sodom used kanji to phonetically spell Mad Gear, and ends up being a mix of random words. The game ends as the remaining members of Mad Gear declare the new name stupid and offers a humorous ending for players.
