As the industry and culture slows down whilst everyone heads off to enjoy the holiday season, it's with the remembrance of an eventual year that the staff of Video Game Chat wish one and all an eventful and enjoyable holiday season.

It's been a wonderful year for our community, which came on leaps and bounds thanks to a fresh lick of paint, more staff, and the constant support of our ever so wonderful and ever so slightly eccentric members. Without them, our hard work would be for naught, and it is the members who keep our community friendly, growing and active.

A special shout-out to those especially who make use of our freely open news submission system to keep us up-to-date on the ever-shifting gaming industry. It's quite a large industry, and it's only going to get bigger in 2008!

Video Game Chat has no intentions of sitting on it's laurels in 2008 though. Early in the year we will be launching our new pod-cast, opening up a more direct and vocal connection with our site's namesake; discussing video games with the gaming community.

And later in the year... well, lets just say that Video Game Chat will be expanding a lot later in the year, and the community will be at the core of this change.

From all of us; enjoy your holidays, and hopefully we will see you all again in the New Year!
