Evolution of Video Game Chat - Part 2: Visual Devices

Written By Words of Ivory 310 days ago
News Category: Website News
As we continue to celebrate the relaunch of Video Game Chat, we are proud to introduce our newest interactive addition to the community; Visual Devices, the video game art gallery archive.

Although this has been open on VGC for a while, it has been relatively hidden until now, and we are proud to open it up to the community.[/sum]

Visual Devices is aiming to offer up a large collection of video game related artwork and renders from the wide breath of the gaming artworld, from the beautiful artwork of Mobius for Panzer Dragoon, to the diverse works of Yoshitaka Amano and Tetsuya Nomura for Final Fantasy, and many other diverse works behind.

All this art is freely accesible to guests and members alike, and a quick registration on the gallery will allow you comment on art, rate images, and even upload your own, helping us to expand the range of titles and artists covered!

The artistic side of gaming is an often under-appreciated one. With Visual Devices, we hope to collectively archive the history and works of the creative visual minds behind the games that we enjoy so much, and the worlds and character that they create for our own enjoyment and their own expression.

We hope you enjoy what Visual Devices has to offer, and that you will help us in contributing to this wonderfully expressive aspect of the broad video game culture.

*Signs up* I'll be sure to continually contribute to the continual efficacy of VGC, believe it.

I think this gallery idea is wonderful. I think that video games can be some of the most beautiful of all forms of art. I don't have any video game pictures on my computer, but I will look for things I think are beautiful so I can contribute. I hope that this idea is appreciated as much as it should be. <3
