As mentioned yesterday, Video Game Chat will be receiving a number of upgrade, to expand upon our focus on community based gaming culture. To that end, we will be opening up the expansion of our gaming knowledge to you, the user, with the introduction of the Video Game Wiki!

This is not just a simple wiki added onto Video Game Chat's front end. This is a dedicated Wiki-based system directly integrated into the forums and the site. Using this system, you can create information about anything gaming or community related that interests you. You can insert graphics, tables and standard wiki features using simple BB and Wiki code. Pages can be added to, rolled back, saved and backed up.

And you don't even need to link to relevant pages. The system can automatically wiki your article to insert links to other relevant pages, making this addition of content even easier!

We will be releasing detailed tutorials on how to use this system in the future, but it is very simple and intuitive, and easy to get into. To go to the front page of the Wiki and get started, just click here!

You will need to register on the forums to use the wiki, but that is the only requirement. As soon as you are registered, you are free to add and edit content as you wish!

I have a few articles in the works right now and a couple already up. I really hope other users see the beauty in this addition as I do. I'm looking forward to watching it grow.
