Thanks to an update from Hudson's North American website, we now know that Ys Book I & II from the TurboGrafx-16 will be released at an unspecified date this August, for 800 Wii points. No word on an European release at the time of this article, however.

This game included both Ys I and Ys II, with upgraded visuals and sound. The game is dated by today's standards, but those who grew up back in the day can appreciate it's charm. The music in these games is one of of it's highlights, due to Yuzo Koshiro composing the soundtrack (who also did Streets of Rage, Shenmue, Actraiser etc).

I especially remember how they use to superimpose the character profile on the screen when they spoke and communicated with each other. Some of it was pretty funny. ;P
