After some waiting, Microsoft have announced a date for the sequel to Viva Pinata.

Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise will be in shops on September 5.Though it has yet to be said whether it will be a worldwide release or staggered.

It will feature over 30 new pinata species, Camera Support and expended co-op options.

New details have also been announced on the Outside-of-Garden environments, where you'll have to tempt,lure and bribe pinata's back into your garden.

For example,in the chilly area of Pinartic(original) you will discover pungums, whereas in the Dessert Desert (facepalm) you'll find Jameleons and Camellos.

I tried, against my better instincts, to play the first one, and it was every bit as inane as I thought it would be. It definitely did not rate a sequel.
