After much speculation that the eagerly anticipated rhythm game Rock Band would have a price point of $200, MTV announced that the bundle, which includes a guitar controller (wireless for the PS3, wired for 360), microphone, drumkit and game, will retail for the reasonable amount of $169.99.
The PS2 version, which launches on December 10th, will also have the wireless controller, and will sell for ten dollars less at $159.99.
Considering all you get, that's a lot of fun for a small price. Interestingly enough, but not surprising, the game will launch on November 23 - Black Friday. If you want this game at launch, I would suggest you reserve it now, because the ads in the weeks leading up to the biggest shopping day of the year will all but guarantee the game will be difficult to acquire otherwise.

Looks awesome, made by the right people, but the game play trailers don't make it look right...
Think I'll play this one before forking out cash. |
