Or call anyone you know that's around a Wal-mart and ask them to purchase it for you. :P Why do stores do this, though? I never really got why before... |

Because of demand; if you sell stuff everyone wants before everyone else is selling it, your stock get's sold out first. | |||

You also lose your job! Sweet. I hate broken release dates. The only person it benefits is the person who bought it. All the info gets leaked which ends up spoiling it for me. What's selling your stock out first get you? I know my GameStop received so few copies of MGS4. Hopefully it doesn't continue like this. |

Then go buy it?
Then don't read it?
More stock sold sooner meaning a greater overall proft? The world isn't going to change just because a game is sold three days early. |

I'm saying the world ends. I am saying the people who sell early can't do their job. As a retail employee part of your job is keeping things till the release. Thats the point of a release date. So I like to keep them. Selling stuff early does not mean any greater profit for you. If you have 10 copies. You still would sell the same amount if you had waited. |

The company still gets thier money, regardless of when the sell the game. He's not bothered, because he's still getting a percentage of the game. So really. Whats he got to lose? |
