Play Zelda for Charity goes for second try

You may have heard about a group of guys over at Cameronbanga.com who tried to beat Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Windwaker, and Twilight Princess in fourty-eight hours. During that event they were taking donations which all went to Child's Play.

If you didn't hear, they failed to complete all of the games due to technical and water temple issues. All was not lost as they raised $1,200 for Child's Play.

Well to make up for not completing all the games they are trying again right now. They are giving themselves eleven hours to complete Twilight Princess this time though. Like last weekend they are playing with a live video feed of this epic event.

So if you want to watch some guys beating 3D Zelda's or want to donate cash to a good cause, head on over to http://www.cameronbanga.com/ for all the details.

I've always found these gaming related charities (such as the Guitar Hero auctions a while back) really charming. Playing games and raising money in the process? Hell yeah!

Lets hope they don't get stuck in the Water Temple again...

A friend of mine played WoW for 5 days straight to get $500 for charity. Shes european, and goes by Cowie :). Needless to say she got bored of the game soon after.

as i said in the other news we had the surgeons on our side, now we have the charities - some games will take over the world - thats once the politicians admit games have good influences on our children. for instants, turning them into doctors and giving them ideas on how to make money for charities....
