...Part of me wants to be offended by dude's little comment, but I suppose there's a nugget of truth to it. I was walking around the other day and I noticed that only 2 out of every 10 people I saw were actually a normal and healthy weight. My wife and I are both thin now, thanks to exercising and watching our food intake, something most of my countrymen seem unwilling to do. However, I still won't be buying Wii Fit, as it looks, like most Wii titles, completely stupid. The people who are buying it are only falling for the fad, nothing more. In a short amount of time, the balance board will be like the treadmill - everyone will have it but none will be using it. |

many people i guess are falling for this hype here in the UK. As a response to Chances healthy and normal. You cant argue against healthy but you could against normal. Like normal - what makes you fit? Wii-fit One definition says that people can vary completly and still be fit. ie. Fitness can be described as the ability to undergo everyday activities. So if you sit watching tv all day - you are fit (to watch tv) I therefore cant think of what this game is really trying to achieve. The only thing they'll get fit doing is playing the Wii-fit videogame. I dont think the skills learnt and practiced in the game are fully transferable to the outside world as much as people think.. |

Honestly I don't think WiiFit can replace good old fashion exercise. I'd sooner actually go to the gym and work out instead of buying this game in order to stay in shape. | |||
