This is the sort of thing you just don't see every day.

As an Irishman myself, I'm devastated to not have had the chance to see this, but the launch of Mario Kart Wii over here was met with one of the most pathos-heavy games-related images ever; the rather strange sight of Mario and "Peach" karting through Henry Street in Dublin!

Random? Yes. Cool as anything? Hell yeah!

For all European gamers, the title is now available to buy from your local retailer. Try not to crash into these two if you're around Dublin though!

Sometimes, I wish the boss let us keep the inflatable Mario costume, but we had to send it back.
