In the PC gaming scene, few names are as well known as Sid Meier; the recognised developer has been responsible for creating some of the most iconic strategy games on the market; namely Civilisation. In a
recent interview though, Meier expressed interest in expanding out into other genres.
"I think someday I would like to try a game in that genre," Meier stated "It really benefits from creativity and new ideas, but we're still in the very early stages of exploring the possibilities of it. I certainly would like to play around with a MMO concept in the future."
A massively multiplayer online Civilisation, with numerous players controlling their own nations and fighting each other for rule of the play? It certainly has potential, and if anyone could make it work, it's Sid Meier.
If it ever happens, don't expect to see it any time soon.

Isnt there an option of Civ4 Complete to play via online?... or is that just me?
Neway this would be a great, however it would take alot of thinking through ect how it would work. After all players would want to come back into the same game the day after while some gamers would want to play it (the game) throughout the whole day... |
