Thats not half as bad as I thought, but then I thought Sony was in the ****ter. Ahaha. It could get better with more games...Frankly, I doubt it though. |

That's pretty sad, tbh. I mean, sure it's sooner than expected, but still. One would hope the company to make a profit shortly after the console's release rather than so far in the future. Good luck to Sony anyways. |

Thats not to bad considering it will be the start of the third year. Lets not forget that Microsoft has only recently turned a profit with their entertainment division. So it's about average time over all.

2006/2007 was the Microsoft entertainment divisions first profitable year, period, so Sony are doing pretty well ^__^, considring so few PS3's have sold, and they've lost so much money per console.

I really hope the PS3 starts doing well. Not only because I am Sony fanboy buy because it should lead to more competion which is a good thing. I like it when everyone is fighting for the lead it gives us a lot of good games and features. I do think that they will start selling more PS3's too... We'll have to wait and see, I guess. |

Thats true, if Sony fails at this and Microsoft gain the lead, it'l be the end of competition for a real games console lol and that means less quality products |

I sort of addressed this in my post about the 360 "stealing" games from PS3. Needless to say, I agree that the PS3 needs to keep going strong. |

It also helps not to have to replace a THIRD of your consoles when trying to turn a profit. ESPECIALLY when you released your machine an entire year later. In the business world this is commonly referred to as ?FORETHOUGHT". Rather than rush to be first, you invest in the quality of your product ... |
