Gamers were taken quite by surprise yesterday after the news that Microsoft would be
dissolving Ensemble Studios - creators of the popular Age of Empires franchise - after the completion of Halo Wars, but it's not all doom and gloom.
"Microsoft continues to own Age of Empires," Xbox boss Shane Kim told Edge.
"It is not losing Age of Empires itself. We're still super excited for the potential for the franchise. The Windows gaming world continues to evolve, and we believe in the future of that property."
Lets just hope that "future" lasts a little longer than Ensemble Studios'.

Thats a little better, Though I've not played the latest one due to people saying it's a little awful, that, and my PC not being able to take it. |
