Max Payne movie trailer actually looks half decent

Colour me genuinely surprised, but the official trailer for the upcoming Max Payne movie has just been revealed, and it's looking surprisingly decent.

Well, better than Hitman, anyway.

The movie is being produced by 20th Century Fox, with the directors chair being given to fellow Irish homeboy John Moore, who is most famously known for the 2001 action flick Behind Enemy Lines. The film is expected to hit cinema screens on October 17th.

Who know, maybe this might actually kill the curse of bad video game to movie adaptations. Lets face it... they really can't get any worse.

*Looks around for the name Uwe Boll...*

I don't see it.

*Lets his hope for a decent movie peek up slightly*

Here is hoping that such an accomplished director can do well with this.

What were those flying demon like things? Don't really remember seeing them in the Max Payne games. Hopefully they're metaphoric. I don't want to see any supernatural beings in a movie based on a game that's pretty realistic. Apart from the bullet time stuff.
