Rumoors about the developer Flagship shutting its doors and letting go of nearly everyone proved to be mostly correct. Mostly, because instead of "nearly everyone" as previously reported by an unnamed source, it has become the entire staff that's been released, with a 30 day pension.
This pension was funded straight from the pockets of the studio's upper staff, as told by the company's community manager, Taylor Balbi.
As a personal thought, it's surprisingly heartwarming that the executives were so very generous toward their employees, in keeping with the validity of the pension
The games, Mythos and Hellgate: London, that the company were developing will continue production under two companies. Korean gaming developer HanbitSoft will take on Mythos while Comerica, a Dallas-based company, will take on Hellgate.
Despite the two companies reportedly working together on the projects there's doubt that Mythos will see western shores as the dramatic development might have affected production.

Ouch.
This is a pity. He really tried to keep things going with the company, but kudos to them for honouring the pensions at least. |
