For those who haven't heard and aren't crazy with excitement, it has been made official that the development teams of Bioware and Lucas Arts will be teaming up for another project that so far both companies have been tight lipped about.

For those who may not remember, the last time BioWare and Lucas Arts teamed up, they brought us the highly acclaimed Sci-Fi RPG goodness known as Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic and this news of the two teaming up again has opened the flood gates across gaming sites and rumors have poured out of what could be in store including a highly anticipated sequel to Knights of The Old Republic.

Currently, BioWare is preparing for the release of their own Sci-Fi RPG, Mass Effect which has been highly anticipated by 360 owners since it's introduction back in 2005. If Mass Effect, if anything can be seen as a sign of what may be in store for us gamers in the future,then this writer would say that the future is looking very, very bright.

However, I have heard whispers that if one is made, it would likely be an MMO. I don't know how I feel about that. WoW kind of ruined that game type for me. I like to accomplish things and have defined goals that go way beyond mindlessly grinding and leveling up.
