Can't afford the
$100 price-tag to go to BlizzCon in California this year? No worries then, because Blizzard have announced that BlizzCon 2008 will be televised in the States, thanks to a partnership with pay per view channel DIRECTV.
"BlizzCon is one of the most highly anticipated gaming conventions of the year, and we are excited to partner with Blizzard Entertainment to deliver coverage of the show to gamers nationwide," said DIRECTV’s Steven Roberts.
"With our BlizzCon pay per view package, members of Blizzard’s gaming communities who are not attending the event can now experience it in crystal-clear HD."
I guess you can't complain about that!

Sounds like a pretty big deal if it's being televised. I'll certainly see if I can get a chance to view this. Actually it would be pretty damn cool if I ever could go there, sounds like quite the con now. Alas, I has no cash for all that. xD |

I will definitely have to watch that. I would love to be there in person but, I have no money. |
