As if Microsoft weren't already losing enough money from the Xbox 360, two truckloads of the company's machines were recently stolen earlier this week in the UK.

The first incident occurred travelling south on the A38 at Hillards Cross, when a lorry (truck) was flagged down. When stopped, the man flagging the truck down threatened the driver and dragged him out of the vehicle, and made off with the lorry and £750,000 (approx $1.5 million) worth of consoles. The driver suffered minor injuries. The lorry was later found - empty - further down the A38.

The second incident occurred at the Hellmann Worldwide Logistics depot on the 23rd November, when a trailer containing £250,000 ($483,000) worth of 360's was stolen.

Police today made the following statement, concerning the incident, "We are appealing for information from anyone offered [the consoles] in suspicious circumstances, such as in a pub, at a car boot sale, or off the back of a lorry, to help us track down those responsible.", said Staffordshire police spokesman Peter Stevens.

I think they're a little too smart for that. xD

From the display that hardcore fans made during the 12:am release or something? They would riot around the truck and probably end up destroying the ps3s along with themselves :0
