Following the surprising news yesterday that
Activision dropped the Sierra development group and a large chunk of its portfolio as part of its merger with Blizzard, Double Fine’s Tim Schafer has thankfully come in to let fans know that Brutal Legend is still in development, and isn't being cancelled.
"Brutal Legend is fine," said the developer talking to Edge Online.
Hey, it's not much, but at least we know the game hasn't been cancelled.
The game is believed to be up for sale along with other Sierra's other titles, Ghostbusters and World in Conflict. They simply won't be published by Activision.

I cancelled my reservation on it (along with four other games). If it comes out when I have money, maybe I'll get it. |

This makes me a lot happy, but my butt cheeks are still clenched over
Ghostbusters. I really, really, really, really want that game! |
