I hope it's true and it doesn't slip again. Does anyone know what the last slip was for? |

Yeah, but they insisted it was till not long before the supposed release. Then suddenly they had to do "a little tweaking" and now we have this huge weight. I was just wondering what had bit them on the ass. |

from what I remember it was developing the game for the 360 that was the most time consuming but I guess that's what happens when you're working with "new" hardware as opposed to mainly being on Sony.

The 360 is a generally easy console to develop for, due to it's similarities with PC technology. It's the PS3 that's causing most of the problem; Sony have a notorious habit of giving their machines lots of power, but not enough memory or processing capability to actually utilise it! The PS2 had bump-mapping, for crying out lout. But the memory restrictions were so restrictive that using it would suck up every last ounce of processing power the machine had, mean it was rarely, if ever, seen in any actual games. Same goes for the PS3. |

Man, GTA4 is almost out and I haven't even played any of the other ones (and I own at least one of them) Shame on me. I really need to get better at playing games.

lol @ the irony Well, it seems they were quick to dispell the notion that it was being delayed. Of course, they are also leaving some room open just in case. Actually, come to think of it, that's shrewd business sense. Er, yeah, I'm in Laura's boat. I haven't play any of these games either. |
