Today, Capcom finally announced Street Fighter 4. Not much is known about the game besides the fact that it's going to be released on the new gen consoles. HD graphics are to be expected, but whether the game will remain 2D like its predecessors is yet to be known.

For some odd reason, that trailer reminds me of nothing more so than Okami <_<;;

Looks cool though, gets my interest and I'm not particularly a fan of the series.

Indeed it does look interesting. It could be a multiplatform since it'll be next gen. If it goes on the Wii then I will rush out and buy one now for this and SSBB

There are various links to reputable news sources about the announcement if you just search on Google. I couldn't choose one! But the video is evidence enough.

Corrine, it's going to be for PS3 and 360 for sure. They said "next gen consoles," but for some reason I doubt they included the Wii.

So many questions arise from this announcement, will the series continue with it's tried and true gameplay or offer something new? Will the visual style in this trailer reflect what the game looks like? Will there also be an arcade release? (and an excuse for me to come out of retirement)
