Yey, someone making some effort on demo's, rather than dumping you at the start for 10 minutes. | |||

Demos are actually a smart way for a gaming company to gauge the reaction to an upcoming game they are developing. It's the best kind of in progress critique you could hope for. Good on them for wanting to make a demo worth putting one's interest in and thus, get the answers they want whilst giving gamers a good bite for them to assess what they think about the game so far. Win-win, I think. |

Demos are usually the reason I buy a particular game. I bought Uncharted based on the stellar demo alone. I did NOT buy Iron man and Turok based on the demo... and the reviews went hand in hand. There were of course the games I bought that had NO demos.... like GTA4 and MGS4... but those titles had sooo much funding and hype... that it would seem ludacris not to buy them. .... on a side note, my wife randomly signed me up for gamefly.. the service that lets you rent games like neflix.... I think this might change the way I buy games. ... and by the way, I LOVE my wife. |
