Square Enix have today announced plans for not just one, but two new titles featuring the company's famous yellow mascots, both due to appear on the Nintendo DS later in the year.

The two titles will be Chocobo and the Magic Storybook: The Witch and the Girl and the Five Valiant Men (yes, that really is the full title) and Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: The Labyrinth of Forgotten Time DS Plus, a remake of the Wii's Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon (known as Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Dungeon)

So lots of chocobos then.

If you're looking for a wider range of games though, really the DS is F--in' ace at that. Two Chocobo games for the DS? Well, that seems overkill, if you don't mind me saying so. But still, at least that increases the chances of me liking one. nods
