Yes, it's another Grand Theft Auto IV article. Considering the popularity of the game, don't expecting much else this week, as the rest of the industry is understandable keeping quiet while the game has its run.
Speaking to Next-Gen, Xbox's Aaron Greenberg has claimed that the GTA IV Xbox Live offering has proved insanely popular this week.
"We had roughly 1 million users in the first 24 hours [of GTA IV’s release] go online with the game on Xbox Live," he said.
"It’s been the number one game on Xbox Live since its launch, so it's knocked off Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4. At launch, our data shows that out of all of our members on Live, the majority of them were playing GTA IV."
"With a community of over 10 million members, that’s pretty rare."
Funny thing is, I can't find myself any players for some of the GTAIV multiplayer modes. What's up with that?

I don't have a console to play this game, but then again the GTA series was never on my top gaming list. Not my type of game :)
My boyfriend however is considering selling his Wii to get a 360.
I'm trying to hold onto it for the classic games we've purchased.
I've seen GTA4 when his room mate bought it. It looks fun, I'll give it that. He didn't seem to have any problem with the online feature though. Time of day perhaps? |

Doesnt surprise me, it was a huge release, and day one, is a long day. Lol.
Or something like that.
I would have stayed up longer to play it, But I was so so tired. |
