Thanks to a confirmed post on the PS3Forum by the lucky few PlayStation Home Beta users, we can confirm some new details and slight changes in the PS3's social networking service, due for release sometime in 2008.

- A new building has been added. It can't be entered yet, and it's purpose is unknown
- Users can now enter their own Home Space's personal patio area
- You can now use pictures straight from your hard-drive to decorate your Home Space
- A game launching option, which allows you to launch games from Home - has been added
- Mvie theatres have been moved from the second floor to the first floor, for easier access
- America, Japan, and Europe will each have separate servers, which should improve loading

This service is clearly starting to come together, and we will be sure to keep you updated as Sony makes progress on PlayStation Home and builds it into the complete, elaborate social networking service they have planned for PS3 users the world over!

I have a feeling Home will be cool. I also have a feeling Sony's going to start picking up a bit next year; I'm hoping that Home will let them do that. They need this to work, after all.

It'd be pretty empty not to have a kickass networking system on such a console D:
