eh, it is a pretty hefty thing they're trying to do. All I can say is that they best get it right before they release it.

I'm split on this one: I am partially pissed at Home's delay... and I have been searching online to get to the bottom of this.. I haven't been able to confirm anything.. but there are MANY people who are saying that Home will require special coding inherent for the in game XMB. This may be why they are so hush hush about the in game XMB as it is directly linked to the release of HOME. We may see XMB support in a firmware update just before Home is released. On the OTHER hand.. This "delay" formula has worked very well for Sony in the past. For instance their console wasn't rushed to be "first" and now it is slowly beginning to snowball and take over console gamers in favorability based on the hardware and out-of-box options alone. Its estimated that Sony wil start to see profitability for the console 3 months prior to the statistical analysis of last years sales. Source: http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/13741.cfm Right now I'm more focused on the fact that I can't seem to find anyone who wants to buy a used 360 (falcon chip model) for more than 180 bucks. I'm trying to get rid of the hardware I can no longer rely on. Any takers? |

Delay yes, but sometimes I feel Sony's delays are just a bit overkill. Don't they have enough of a development team to devote to getting this done in a more timely fashion? Although I'd rather a project take more time than be here faster there is a line that crossed when it's THAT long, IMO.
