Today, Ready at Dawn announced that their upcoming PlayStation Portable version of the popular God of War franchise, God of War: Chains of Olympus has hit gold status, meaning its development is complete, putting the game on track for its release in the US early next month.

To coincide with the fact, the game's official website has officially launched. You can find it by clicking here.

Chains of Olympus is a prequel to the original God of War title, which made its original début on the PlayStation 2 in 2005.

God of War: Chains of Olympus is due out in North America on March 4. A European release date has yet to be announced, but should hopefully be forthcoming.

I continue to forget that people are not all looking at the same PSP store.... there is a demo on the PS3 store and I'm pretty sure you can download it online if you do it from your home browser.. I don't believe there to be a difference in the UK and USA versions.

I think that the demo should work on UK PSP's as well... unless for some reason you guys have a PAL PSP and we have a NTSC PSP.... I'm honestly not sure.
