Looks this is coming a lot sooner than we thought. Sony confirmed yesterday that the highly anticipated PS3 Firmware 2.40 update, which includes in-game XMB and the launch of "Trophies", will be go live tomorrow, July 2nd!

The following games have been confirmed to include Trophy support:

* BUZZ! Quiz TV
* LittleBigPlanet
* MotorStorm Pacific Rift
* NBA 09 - PS3
* PAIN
* PixelJunk Eden
* Resistance 2
* SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation
* Warhawk

Except other 3rd party title to be patched with this feature, and for it to be included in all future games on the console. I just hope that developers don't take the lazy way out and make trophies and achievements in mutli-format games identical.

You're joshing me aren't you. It's all lies. Haha... Way cool. Can't wait to get trophies. Hopefully it will help Sony sales greatly. I'm a little bit of a fan boy if you haven't figured out already.
