When the PS3 launched one of the hottest titles was the game MotorStorm. Well Evolution Studios is back with the announcement of MotorStorm 2. The game will feature double the amount of tracks to race on leaving the count at sixteen. Most of these tracks are expected to be in the new local; an island some where in the pacific ocean.

The game will keep all the old vehicles with the addition of the monster truck, and allow up to four player split-screen multiplay. The announcement came with a teaser trailer done completely in CG showing off the local, and new vehicle the monster truck. As with the first game it looks very pretty and shows some aggresive racing.

Not much is known beyond this. We can most likely expect more of what the first MotorStorm brought with some new additions. PS3 owners and racing fans alike should look out for this game as new details emerge.
